Broken Key Loop
One of my MK5 keysfobs fell off the small key ring on the top, where it attaches the keyfob. Apparently it's made out of extremely soft plastic or metal. I've made a hole in it, and then wet-sanded it to strengthen it but I'm guessing the problem isn't helped by that.
I've also tried wrapping the broken ring with clear tape but it didn't look much better. This is a pity, as I use the little split ring to keep my keys in place.
